At Kingswood we believe that effective transition is vitally important for each child’s well-being and to ensure that they have supportive experiences when joining and leaving Kingswood.
New children and parents/carers are offered settling sessions, where they can come for stay and play sessions. This enables them to familiarise themselves with the setting and staff.
We offer every family a home visit prior to your child joining us and we try and visit children’s previous settings whenever possible or if necessary.
When it is time for your child to leave us, we will work closely with your child’s next school to ensure they have a successful transition.
